This June we were back in Regent’s Park for our fourth, and quite possibly our favourite ever Taste of London. As always it was a packed five days of fun: temporary tattoos, polaroid pictures, our favourite nutshell chair and, this year, thousands of mini PB&J toasties.
This year we decided we wanted to celebrate the mighty peanut, and what better way than to put our spin on the ultimate Peanut Butter combination: peanut butter & jelly. To make this happen, we teamed up with the wonderful England Preserves, who make delicious jam in Bermondsey. In actual fact, they used to have the stand next to Pip & Nut at Maltby Street Market when Pip was very first starting out, so we go way back. We set up our very own PB&J ‘Taste Test’, you could say it was our own version of a wine pairing. Perhaps.
The all-star line-up included our tasty hi-oleic Peanut Butter + Strawberry, Raspberry or Blackberry Jam. All were delicious, but Raspberry may have taken the win.
As usual we had tons of fun, and as usual we ran out of temporary tattoos (when will we learn that everyone loves a tat?!). We hope to see some of you back there next year!
